Juneteenth 3 on 3 Unity Basketball Tournament

Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation (SPAR) Athletics Division is proud to announce a special Juneteenth edition of our 3 on 3 Unity Basketball Tournament.

As always, the purpose of the Unity Tournaments is to enrich the quality of life by providing a safe, positive, and active opportunity within our community through basketball.

In addition to the Basketball Tournament, SPAR will offer:

• Free basketball competition and skills challenge for youth and adults

• Drive-thru Covid-19 vaccines and testing on site administered by LSU Health Shreveport

• Voter registration drive

• Fun in the park

• Music

• Food truck

This special event will be held at Valencia Park (1800 Viking Drive) on Saturday, June 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Drive-Through Covid-19 Vaccines:

• No appointment necessary

• Ages 12-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
