    Youth Basketball League (Girls and Boys) DATE(S): Monday, January 7, 2019 (League games start). All games played on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays TIME(S): Weekdays- 6:15pm, 7:15 pm, and 8:15 pm / Saturdays, 9:00am – 4:00 pm WHERE: SPAR Community Center Gyms PROGRAM OVERVIEW: This youth basketball league is designed to promote competition and fundamentals of basketball.   4. YOUth FIT Running Program

    YOUth FIT provides children, 7 – 17 years old, with skill and fitness instruction for successful Cross County (distance/endurance) running. YOUth FIT believes that teaching the foundations & strategies for health and fitness associated with running is an integral part of a healthy lifestyle. Fundamental knowledge, skill development, proper progression, lead-up games & seminars will provide participants with an opportunity to emphasize development of Cross Country running skills and healthy lifestyles in a fun and stimulating environment. All levels are welcome! Tuesdays: YOUth FIT training includes a group warm-up, dynamic stretching, plyometrics, drills, games, relays, hills, interval and endurance conditioning. After the cool down, health and fitness topics are discussed, as well as individual goal-setting assistance. Thursdays: YOUth FIT participants apply their training and goals to weekly fun runs, ranging from 1 mile - 5K. All participants end the program with the 5K.
