Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation (SPAR) will host its 2nd Annual Slam Dunk Contest, presented by Academy Sports & Outdoors, in conjunction with the 25th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Basketball Tournament on Friday, February 22, 2013.
SPAR seeks contestants who are 18 years of age and older who have what it takes to compete on a high level for a chance to win the Grand Prize of $500. If you fit the profile, contact SPAR Athletics at 318.673.7748 (49) by February 15th or stop by the SPAR Athletics Office at 7401 Jewella Avenue. Current high school or college athletes are not permitted to compete.
