Community Centers

SPAR operates 15 Community/Recreation Centers throughout the city of Shreveport.  The centers are open Monday through Saturday (except for holidays) offering pool, table tennis, board games, outdoor sports, wrestling, computer literacy, basketball,  arts, crafts and many other fun activities.   The centers also offer after school youth & teen programs and senior programs.

Community Centers also offer special seasonal programs and special events, such as: Halloween and Christmas parties, table game competitions and tournaments, sleep-ins, field trips and community festivals.  Our centers offer their respective neighborhood communities a respite from the boredom of a lack of fun activities and events.  SPAR has great activities and events going on year round.  Click on a center above for contact information along with programs and events offered at the centers.  Also a map showing the location of the center is available.
